We’re looking for a Social Media Assistant to join the team at YRS TRULY.
A little bit about us: we’re a multi-award-winning games marketing agency, working with the lovely teams at Wizards of the Coast, Ubisoft, PLAION, Frontier – and many more. We’re a B Corp certified company and our ethical stance dictates a lot of what we do: we put people before profit.
We work from our office in East London and we’ll need you to be located within an hour’s commute from us. We often take meetings or brainstorm together, so it’s important that you can join us in the office once or twice a week.
About the role:
We’re looking for a passionate individual looking to get started in the gaming industry: an interest in games is a must. This is a support role, focused on content creation, and requires robust photo- and video-editing skills. Ideally, you’ll have at least 1-2 years of social media marketing experience under your belt, not necessarily within games.
This is not a remote position. We’re generally flexible about remote work and let you choose when you want to come in/stay home, but you’ll likely need to be in office twice a week.
What we're looking for:
– 1-2 years of social media marketing experience – Great understanding of TikTok and TikTok trends – Good photo and video editing skills, ideally using Adobe – Confident with Google Suite: Google Docs, Google Sheets and Google Slides – Able to conduct work in a professional manner – Excellent writing and communication skills – Problem-solver with a positive attitude – Able to commute to our office in Hackney, East London – Passionate about gaming – Interested in gaming marketing
Your responsibilities: – Social media content creation, with a focus on TikTok – Video and photo editing – Brainstorming social media ideas – Creative research – Assisting team members – Using various marketing tools after training – Participating in external and internal meetings

Location: We work under the hybrid model and are in the office at least once or twice a week. Being able to commute to our office in Hackney is a must, as this is not a remote role.
Salary: The salary for the position is £30,000 PA.
This is a six-month contract with the possibility to extend into a full-time position (dependent on performance). We work four days a week, though there are occasionally working Fridays.
