We are looking for a Pipeline Technical Director to join our Tech Art team. In this role you will be responsible for the design, development and maintenance of the Art Pipeline Tools. The primary focus is ensuring artist efficiency across the art departments, such as characters, props, environments, animation, and UI.

What You Will Do:
Provide software and tools support to production and artists
Develop Toolset that will bridge data management across software (Maya, Motionbuilder, Shotgrid, Jira, Perforce), design and implement user-interface
Communicate cross-discipline and provide innovative solutions to pipeline issues
Troubleshoot technical issues and provide user support
Develop comprehensive knowledge of software and systems; drive the development and evolution of standards and conventions, requiring thorough understanding of the overall pipeline
Mentor other team members
Write and maintain documentation
Who Will Be A Great Fit:
At least 8 years of experience in a similar position
Advanced Python knowledge, excellent understanding of Qt / PySide, and Maya
Understanding of game engine limitations
Experience researching, piloting, and rolling out new techniques
Experience in designing and creating systems, tools and assets for projects
Experience with version control system (Perforce), and Shotgrid software
Excellent problem-solving skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Love for video games (not just ours!)
Nice to have:
Experience writing tools for Substance Painter, Photoshop, MotionBuilder
Experience working with the Jira system
Understanding of Rigging, Physics Simulation, Shaders
Experience with C++, PyMel
