
Events & Community Assistant
With the Digital Marketing Manager of ESI, and the wider Commercial, Media & Marketing Teams, the Marketing Assistant will play an active role in promoting ESI Events, Media Products and other required marketing campaigns, as well as strengthening ESI’s CRM systems and operations. This will mean playing an active role across the business, working closely with the Digital Marketing Manager, but with a heightened focus on preparations and promotion for Esports Insider’s key European events; namely ESI London and ESI Lisbon.
The role reports into the Digital Marketing Manager of ESI directly.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
[1] Research & Outreach. Assisting in building out and widening our leads and contacts list by researching those, across sectors & industries, who might have an interest in ESI London & ESI Lisbon specifically and primarily (and more broadly our wider services), and in turn direct outreach to them (utilising email and Linkedin) by way of guest invitations and/or ticket sales
[2] Assisting in keeping our Hubspot CRM system up to date with contacts and strengthening this as a tool. This includes the organisation and structure of it intact to best effect for business goals; including consideration of categories (such as split lists for Media, Press or Finance contacts across businesses], considering wider ESI Team UX and needs & requirement, and ensuring it’s contact rich and user friendly to the best effect across the business and team members
[3] Supporting the Digital Marketing Manager on adhoc administrative tasks related to marketing as well as aligned internal communications across departments

Event attendee numbers hit or surpassed across both paid tickets and guest invites across ESI London and ESI Lisbon
Event outreach numbers hit or surpassed across ESI London and ESI Lisbon
ABOUT YOU
You must have:
Excellent written and spoken English
Excellent basic research and organisational skills; a meticulous mindset and nature
Immaculate attention to detail
First rate people skills
An understanding of, and interest in, social media, including trends
Competence and experience working with Google Spreadsheets and Excel
A coherence & understanding of (and ideally interest in) the esports industry, and at least a basic knowledge and understanding of the ecosystem, and the stakeholders across it
Ability to work calmly under pressure and meet targets and deadlines
Ability to work closely with colleagues and team members
Ability to work efficiently in a structured way, prioritising a wide range of tasks
Experience with Google Drive & Google Docs
It would be nice if you had:
Knowledge of project management platforms including Asana
Experience with basic CMS systems (WordPress)
Competence in and experience working with CRM systems, ideally Hubspot
