Job Description
About the Role
We are looking for a Technical Animator to join our Rainbow Six team . As a technical animator, you will work alongside and support the animation team creating character, prop, weapon rigs , optimizing and developing the animation, internal plug_in tools that needed to support a creative and efficient production pipeline.
Responsibilities
Create, test, and maintain rigs, including skinning for characters, face, weapons, gadgets if it is applied.
Support and implement animation content, and fine tune parameters for gameplay animation in Ubisoft game engine.
Collaborate closely with animators, modelers, and technical artists to set standards and enhance rigging tools and animation workflows.
Optimize and refine content creation pipelines, identifying and addressing workflow bottlenecks to enhance efficiency of art team.
Oversee and implement simulations for cloth, hair, and other dynamic elements across a diverse range of characters or creatures.
Troubleshoot asset and editor problems for the Animation
Develop and create contents of technical documentation and guideline relate to animation process on Ubisoft Confluence.
Qualifications
Requirements
Enthusiastic gamer with a passion for making great games and animations.
Minimum 3 years experience as a Technical Animator for games with an emphasis on developing and maintaining animation systems on AAA games.
Strong knowledge of Max, Motionbuilder animation, rig system and Python , C++, Mel.
Experienced in Game engine (unity or Unreal) animation system.
Strong communication , problem solving and time management skills.
