Job Description

Ubisoft Film & TV is seeking to fill its Creative Executive position. The Ubisoft Film and Television Creative Executive will support the Head of Film & TV Content and the VP of Film and TV across a slate of IP based and original films and TV series. Based entirely in Los Angeles, this person will support the creative team in the developing, production, and delivery of a variety of film and television projects in all stages. Candidates should have a passion for and engagement with the video game industry, knowledge of and experience in the film and tv development process, outstanding communication skills, be highly organized, and be able to evaluate material and prepare excellent creative notes.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Working closely with the VP of Film & TV to support projects by preparing and refining written notes on all new drafts and cuts

  • Assist the creative team by assembling and maintaining lists of writers, directors, and talent for current and future projects

  • Create strong visual decks and creative materials that clearly synthesize and communicate Ubisoft’s IP to creative partners

  • Have a strong knowledge of up-and-coming writers, directors, and actors across all genres relevant to UFT, bringing in an influx of regular general meetings with writers and directors to know

  • Evaluate submitted material and provide succinct recommendations to senior executives on compatibility with UFT’s slate needs

  • Build and maintain key relationships with junior executives at buyers, agencies, management and production companies across film & television

  • Understand and maintain a working document of buyer needs across film & television, according to junior executives

  • Have an in-depth knowledge of competitive development and comparable companies to UFT

  • Build and maintain a strong working knowledge of the IP in Ubisoft’s library

Qualifications

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

  • Mid level of experience in the film and/or television business, either as an assistant or coordinator at a production company, agency, or management company

  • Knowledge of the basic development process and the key players in the industry (studios, networks, agencies, management firms)

  • Knowledge of the entertainment landscape, including film, television, books, games, and social media

  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple, time-sensitive projects and competing priorities in a demanding fast-paced environment

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across teams.

The Culver City base salary range for this full-time position is $75,000 - $90,000. The Compensation details reflect the base salary only, and do not include bonus, stock options, or benefits.
