Job Description

Under supervision of the Director, Data Strategy, the Player Experience Research Manager is responsible for researching player behavior and preferences. UX researchers systematically studies target players to collect and analyze data that will help inform the decisions from Publishing or Direct to Player perspective.

What you’ll do:

Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Meet stakeholders across Publishing and Direct to Player organization to gather information about their requirements and to find out what needs researching, designing or usability testing.

  • Define research questions and select appropriate methods.

  • Study target players to collect and analyze data that will help inform the business decisions.

  • Conduct research studies and analyze the data collected.

  • Transform your findings into easily understandable insights.

  • Be confident in your presentation skills in order to present your analysis and findings to the business users.

Qualifications

What you’ll bring:

  • Strong UX research experience

  • Ability to quickly and effectively share research results.

  • Ability to perform all research-related tasks including research, planning, evaluating, and iteration.

  • Ability to formulate specific, answerable, and practical questions.

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders and act as a strategic partner in product decisions.

  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Experience in project management

  • Detail Oriented

The San Francisco base salary range for this position is $120,000 - $140,000. The base pay offered may vary based on a candidate’s qualifications, skills and experience among other factors. Compensation details reflect the base salary only, and do not include bonus, stock options, or benefits.
