Job Description
About the Role:
As a Senior Audio Designer, you'll collaborate with the Creative Director and programming team to create sound effects, music tracks, and integrate audio into the game for Just Dance. Your role is to ensure the best possible audio experience for players, immersing them in the game's world.
What You Will Do:
Create sound effects for all aspects of the game, from combat to ambient world effects to UI, in collaboration with the Creative Director
Coordinate with engineering to design and present sound effects and music in the most effective way to players
Either compose or supervise a musician to create music tracks for Just Dance
Manage the integration of sounds into the game for a seamless audio experience
Qualifications
What You'll Bring:
Must-Have:
Solid skills in Audio Kinetic Wwise, debugging experience in mobile projects • Sound design skills, audio editing, DSP processing, and mixing (essential to master Pro Tools or Reaper)
Knowledgeable in the entertainment industry, including video games, movies, TV series, music, and fashion culture
Capability of creating/editing soundtracks efficiently for video clips following director’s intentions
A passion for creating and playing video games
Familiarity with various audio middleware applications and audio specifications of different game platforms
Musical proficiency (Understanding Rhythm, modern music)
Nice-to-Have:
Basic programming skills with C, C++, understanding/experienced skill with scripts (Lua/Modal, etc.)
Ability to implement basic programming algorithms
Familiarity with Max/MSP (or Csound, Pd, etc.), knowledge about audio programming and software DSP
Dialogue and field recording experience
Avid dancer
