Job Description

Ubisoft is looking for a Microsoft Compliance Specialist Tester to join the Test Specialized Department (TSD). This team’s main mission is to facilitate the submission process for all parties involved by coordinating information and providing expert advice in addition to assisting in flagging and solving submission blockers.

As a Microsoft Compliance specialist tester joining this team, you will be responsible for overseeing the support of console standards. You will also ensure that our games meet all the manufacturer’s (Xbox) requirement standards.

Responsibilities

  • Methodically verify each Xbox Requirement (XR);

  • Advise production teams on XR standard use;

  • Read, assess, and verify return reports from the manufacturer;

  • Effectively identify the rules for reproducing bugs;

  • Provide detailed descriptions of the issues and reproduction rules;

  • Provide clear and detailed solutions to issues based on XR;

  • Follow-up on issues compiled in the database;

  • Draft reports on the tests that are carried out and update the test documents.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in compliance testing;

  • Previous experience working on video games and/or the gaming industry;

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Xbox requirements;

  • Knowledge of bug-tracking databases such as Jira, Xray, and TestRail;

  • Knowledge of SDK (software development kit - Microsoft);

  • Knowledge of the Office suite Word, Excel, and Outlook.
