JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsible for supporting the Licensing Manager in the execution of our licensing program strategies for the Ubisoft brand portfolio in the territories of Europe, Middle East, and Africa.

Responsibilities:

Strategy and Business Development

  • Contribute to the execution of the Licensing Out strategy across EMEA.
  • Identify prospects and sign new licensing deals consistent with the strategy and revenue target.
  • Ensure fast negotiations and execution of new licensing contracts.
  • Ensure payments are invoiced and quarterly statements are submitted promptly.

Internal and External Relationships

  • Coordinate with the Global Creative Team to develop style guides consistently and in line with licensing program strategies.
  • Monitor the smooth development of the licensed products, in line with the studios’ guidelines, in a timely manner.
  • Take part in the development and implementation of the on-site consumer products offer in retail, online, trade shows, or esport events.
  • Ensure that marketing and communication support is offered to partners and visibility of the partnership is optimized internally and externally.
  • Supervise updates and/or creation of promotional/marketing and pitch materials such as facts sheets, newsletters, digital tool kits, and brand presentations.
  • Communicate news and achievements on licensing, retail operations, merchandising events, to ensure good relay of information internally and externally.

Process Optimization & Research

  • Assist in the implementation of new tools enabling better data tracking, sales reporting, business analysis, competitive and market intelligence.
  • Provide support for meetings with both internal and external partners, including agendas/recaps, logistical support and securing needed materials

QUALIFICATIONS

Basic Qualifications:

  • Sales, agency, or marketing experience, preferably in the entertainment space (strong internship experience considered)
  • Bilingual in English and French, third language is a plus

Additional Qualifications:

  • Strong desire to work in a multi-cultural and inclusive environment
  • Demonstrated self-starter with the ability to handle different projects, prioritize work assignments, meet deadlines and independently work in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience generating impactful PowerPoint Presentations (story framing, slide design, animations/builds, etc). Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc) and InDesign/Photoshop experience also a plus
  • Very detail-oriented and a collaborative teammate who excels at establishing relationships
  • Solid organizational skills, excellent written and oral presentation skills, and ability to troubleshoot and provide successful resolutions
  • Experience working for a video game publisher or major consumer products company preferred
  • Strong desire to work for a global brand and help drive innovation within Ubisoft
