Job Description

We are looking for an IT Operations Manager to lead a team of 10 specialists responsible for Ubisoft’s monitoring: supporting and developing our observability products. The ideal candidate combines strong people management skills with technical awareness, helping the team stay efficient, proactive, and aligned with organizational goals. 

This role is less about coding and more about leadership, process, and operational excellence. 

Team Management & Leadership 

  • Lead and mentor a team of 10 monitoring specialists (programmers and administrators) based in EMEA and NCSA.  
  • Conduct regular 1:1s, performance reviews, and career development planning.  

IT Product & Operations Oversight 

  • Work with the team to investigate alerts, raise tickets, and resolve product issues following ITIL practices 
  • Ensure smooth handling of current product operations while supporting further feature development.  
  • Optimize operational workflows for efficiency and scalability.  
  • Provide insights on the roadmap of our products, as an Operations Manager 
  • Lead continuous improvement practices to keep enhancing our ways of working 

Stakeholder & Communication 

  • Serve as the main point of contact for internal stakeholders regarding operational updates.  
  • Translate technical issues and updates into actionable insights for non-technical teams. 

Qualifications

  • Proven experience managing teams of 5–15 people, with strong coaching and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with IT products, monitoring systems, and operational workflows (experience with ticketing systems such as ServiceNow is a plus).
  • Solid knowledge and understanding of the ITIL framework.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and process improvement abilities.
  • Ability to lead teams proactively, anticipate challenges, and drive operational excellence.
