Job Description

About the Role

As an Economic Designer, you will be responsible for designing and balancing features, systems, and game content that will encourage the player to invest in a game to enhance his experience. You will work closely with designers, producers, engineers, and artists during the production, launch and live operations of games.

What you will do

  • Responsible for the planning, design, and optimization of economic and commercial systems.

  • Design rules and numerical systems related to in-game generation and consumption, as well as experience adjustments and optimizations

  • Responsible for data-related configuration, ensuring accuracy and effectiveness.

  • Collaborate with other teams, including game design, programming, art, to ensure the implementation of designs on time and with high quality.

  • Analyze product data, user feedback, and competitor trends to continuously optimize and enhance the gaming experience.

Qualifications

What you will bring

  • Strong knowledge and experience with online/multi-player/social games or free to play games.

  • Solid experience with monetization, game balancing, social features, reward structure, viral aspects

  • High level of mathematical literacy combined with business acumen, and have a solid foundation in statistics.

  • Communicate clearly and efficiently, analytical thinking, problem solving mind-set

  • Experience in large DAU casual game is preferred

  • Communication in Chinese is a must
