Job Title: Trade Compliance Specialist
Job Summary: Responsible for the movement of merchandise and/or material in/out of the country in compliance with country, federal, state, and local regulations.

What you’ll do
Support the day-to-day import/export activities (transactions) in the North America region including interaction with TPCi's customs brokers and freight forwarders.
Perform import and export compliance reviews and post-entry audits.
Assist in the implementation of corrective actions resulting from internal audit findings and compliance assessments.
Utilize expertise in researching regulations, policies, and best practices in relation to compliance issues such as valuation, country of origin determination, and new market expansions.
Support Global Trade Compliance team on compliance related projects such as drawback, reconciliation, and forced labor.
Assist with monitoring of brokerage key performance indicators.
Review Free Trade Agreement requests from customers.
Perform restricted party screening.
Support HTS Classification program management.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
What you’ll bring
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Logistics, Trade Compliance, Business Administration or another related field.
3+ years in import/export operations and NA trade compliance.
U.S. Customs Brokers License preferred.
Experience and application of the US Customs Regulations and US Export Administration Regulations in an operational environment.
Experience in identifying compliance risks and recommending solutions.
Experience using trade management systems, e.g. Oracle GTM.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication, and interpersonal skills, including an ability to effectively communicate across all levels and functions of an organization.
Strong experience with process improvement and cross-functional collaboration.
Analytical and complex problem-solving skills, coupled with attention to detail and follow through on tasks and projects.

Base salary range: For this role, new hires generally start between $73,000.00 - $86,450.00. The full range is $73,000.00 - $109,000.00. This range is applicable for the labor market where the role is intended to be hired. Final base salary is directly related to each candidates' qualifications and professional experience uniquely.
