OPERATIONS - Community and Support Specialist
The Community and Support Specialist is Sucker Punchβs spokesperson, responsible for working alongside our Senior Communications Manager to conduct day-to-day interactions with our fans and players. They will provide world class, personal support by engaging, educating, and entertaining our players, while maintaining an ongoing dialogue with the community at large and informing our internal team.
Responsibilities
Engage with the community across social media channels, while collecting feedback and addressing concerns
Communicating with fans and facilitating support requests for gameplay issues
Working alongside our Senior Communications Manager and Sony public relations and marketing, populate social media feeds and external channels
Present reporting to internal teams on community engagement, sentiments, and social media data with the intent to take Sucker Punch media practices to the next level
Educate and inform players by writing, maintaining and updating articles both internally and externally
Moderate discussions, provide personal insight, offer humor, spotlight community-related items, and be the liaison between players and development team
Assist Sucker Punch Ops team with internal communications and team events
Interact with sister PlayStation Studios teams on collaborations and knowledge sharing
Willing to travel industry-related tradeshows and conferences
Qualifications
3-5 years experience in social media, public relations, community management, or related field
Exceptional interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
Desire to proactively work as part of a team
Highly organized with project planning skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Ability to answer and prioritize high volumes of support requests
Must be able to exercise discretion and keep composure under pressure
Bonus Factors
Knowledge of Sucker Punch games and PlayStation ecosystem a plus
Working knowledge of image and video editing a plus
This position is available for on-site, hybrid or fully remote.
We are currently only seeking candidates eligible to work in the US or Canada.
This is a contract role. As well as open to remote, with varying pay ranges based on geographic location. For example, if you are based out of Seattle, the estimated base pay range for this role is listed below.
$67,700-$101,500
