Responsibilities

Launch and drive successful a program or set of various game development projects being accountable for delivery
Mentors and cultivates PMs, setting high standards and behavioral examples to them
Measure and evaluate the performance of projects;
Establish and support high level of trust relations with client
Keeps tabs on team/studio moral and adjusts when necessary
Manages interactions between project teams, functional disciplines, and studio leadership
Contributes to the company’s on-going process improvement
Participates directly in the hiring of candidate staff

Requirements

At least five (5) years commercial experience in project management
Experience delivering at least three (3) complex projects
Experience managing multi-discipline creative teams, including producers, engineers, artists, designers, and quality assurance
Demonstrable experience working in all project phases (from concept to release)
Ability to adjust project approaches, methodologies, and team composition on the fly
Strong prior experience in using Agile, Scrum, Kanban, Waterfall and other similar development approaches
Prior experience driving distributed global teams
Ability to manage efficiently 50+ persons teams having team leads and additional project manager(s)
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Fluent in business-level English
Experience in AAA game development is a big plus
