Description

  • Leading position which assumes leading the team and game designers to pursue major design decisions for a large AAA game (PC/Play Station/Xbox);

  • Own, drive and communicate the vision for major design initiatives, new features, major design overhauls and hold brainstorming/playtest sessions;

  • Work closely and unify all other disciplines: engineers, artists and producers to design, tune and implement various game design directions

  • Write proposals for major systems, new game modes and other large design initiatives;

  • Lead complex, challenging, impactful game aspects with minimal oversight;

  • Analyze internal and external metrics feedback and adjust design or balance the game if necessary;

  • Describe user experience stories, create wireframe screens and flows;

  • Contribute to prototyping, game balancing and gameplay tuning;

  • Recruit and train designers for company initiatives;

  • Remain up to date with Game Design literature and best practices to be an evangelist for the craft of Game Design

Requirements

  • Must have experience in Game Design for AAA games or own a compelling portfolio;

  • Knowledge of 3D level/game design tools and editors, primarily Unreal 4 & Unreal 5;

  • Full cycle and multi-discipline development experience is a must;

  • Understanding of gameplay densities and dependencies plus ability to unify all elements together;

  • A fine attention to quality and detail, both creatively and technically;

  • Strong creative skills;

  • Excellent organization and communication skills;

  • Understand scripting or ability to scrip will be treated as a big bonus;

  • Great leadership and collaboration;

  • Demonstrated ability to work self-directed when necessary;

  • Confident English level both written and verbal (at least Intermediate);

  • Knowledge of Project Management tools (Jira, Confluence);

  • Solid user of office tools (Word, Excel, Powerpoint);

  • A gamer, with a strong passion for games in general;

  • Excellent knowledge of video game industry;

  • Ability to put oneself in player’s shoes.
