Responsibilities

  • Develop, create environment and props assets matching project and studio standards

  • Work with Lead Artists to ensure timely completion of game assets

  • Communicate regularly with the Lead Artist regarding the status of current tasks

  • Obtain Lead Artists guidance and approval as required to advance tasks

  • Continue to refine artistic abilities and learn new software packages and / or in-house tools

  • Coordinate with Senior and/or Lead Artists with mentoring Junior 2D Artists as well as sharing best project practices with them

  • Contribute to the team-oriented environment

Requirements

  • Advanced knowledge of lighting, coloring, anatomy, perspective and composition

  • advanced knowledge of Photoshop and/or Corel Painter as well as some knowledge of 3D tools and pipeline

  • Ability to paint or concept in any style

  • Ability to concept with a high degree of ideation utilizing techniques that enhance speed and revision work

  • Advanced knowledge of sketching/ illustration/speedpainting, and ability to concept characters and/or environments

  • Ability to receive constructive feedback

  • Self-motivation, good communication skills, and a great team-player attitude
