Overview:
Sharkmob is searching for an innovative Automation Engineer to play a crucial role in maintaining the high quality of our projects. In this vital capacity, you'll work closely with both QA and code teams to build tools that streamline their efforts, ensuring we deliver a performance-driven and high-quality end product. As a part of the programming team with high ambitions, you will have the chance to impact our games deeply and see the fruits of your labor in the exciting early stages of game development.
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain sophisticated automation frameworks to facilitate game development processes.
Collaborate closely with QA and coding teams to enhance their productivity and work quality.
Implement continuous monitoring strategies to proactively address and mitigate potential project issues.
Communicate effectively with stakeholders to keep them informed of project health and advancements.
Play an integral role in a team that's fueled by ambition and a passion for making standout games.
Requirements:
Professional experience with Continuous Integration (CI) tools and pipelines.
Proficient in C++ and at least one additional programming language such as Python or C#.
Experience with database technologies and proficient in query languages.
A strong collaborative spirit that ensures seamless communication between various disciplines.
Prior quality assurance experience, particularly within the gaming industry.
Experience with Unreal Engine including hands-on experience with the Gauntlet Testing framework is a significant plus.
