Job Description
The Gameloft Kharkiv Studio has an exciting opportunity for a Junior Game Community Manager to integrate their team of community experts working on Disney Magic Kingdoms.
As a Junior Game Community Manager, you will join a team of passionate social media & community experts dedicated to building the most rewarding community experiences for our most engaged cohorts of players & fans of the game around the world!
In this role, you will be responsible for being a key point of contact between the Disney Magic Kingdoms community and the game development team. You'll help cultivate a vibrant and welcoming space where players can connect, share their love for the game, and provide valuable feedback.
PASSION is key! For this position, we expect you to understand the ins-&-outs of gaming communities, & their importance within a game’s lifecycle. It goes without saying that to be truly a great fit for this position, you should be a gamer at heart, with a hands-on understanding of the power of communities in the gaming realm and a passion for all things Disney.
Qualifications
PROFILE & SKILLS:
Community Management Background: 1 to 2 years of experience in a similar role or moderating online communities (Discord, Forums) is preferred.
Social Media Savvy: Strong understanding of social media best practices, engagement strategies, and content creation.
Communication & Collaboration: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work effectively within a team and communicate clearly with both internal stakeholders and external players.
Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze community feedback, identify trends, and provide actionable insights.
Mandatory Disney Fan: A genuine love for Disney and its magical characters is essential! You should be familiar with various Disney franchises, have played Disney Magic Kingdoms, and understand what makes the game special.
Strong organizational skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, international environment.

JOB SCOPE & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Community Moderation & proactive engagement – 60%:
Take ownership of the moderation & engagement strategy for the game (predominantly on Discord): continuously improving the approach for the game by testing out new grounds & activities.
Establishing community performance targets in terms of: overall coverage, reply times, community Csat, overall sentiment, community retention metrics & utilize tools & processes at hand in order to continuously improve performance.
Relaying player care related issues to the appropriate team(s) & managing community expectations with regards to customer care related issues.
Reporting back to game management on community feedback on a bi-weekly basis, using the social listening & analytics tools you’ll be given. Providing actionable insights when relevant.
Keeping the game community hubs as safe as possible: by enforcing platform rules, applying community code of conduct, utilizing the processes/tools/guidelines at hand. Keeping track of in-game bans. Prioritizing & escalading issues appropriately.
Building on community response bible, making sure that new topics are addressed & that canned responses are in line with the game’s communication approach.
Social Media strategy support – 20%:
Supporting community strategy plans, keeping engagement at the heart of those plans (e.g ensuring there is active moderation & engagement during live events or community challenge campaigns).
Track & analyze community & content performance KPIs, draft & share reports on a regular basis.
Conducting benchmarks & trends observations: be a proactive source of ideation for the Game’s community team, but also for the game’s marketing & management teams.
Content Creation: Contribute to a variety of community-focused content, including social media posts, forum updates, event announcements, and engaging in direct conversations with players. This also involves strategically scheduling content using appropriate tools.
Project Management – 20%:
Developing editorial content to support the moderation & engagement strategy for the game, with the ultimate goal of keep driving community members back to the game, all the while achieving community performance targets: patch-notes, blogposts, newsletters etc. & report on the performance of this content.
Coordinate UGC programs for their game(s) (e.g Content Creator Program, hashtag challenges, community contributions board etc.) & report on the performance of these initiatives.
