Creative Assembly is looking for an experienced Senior Brand manager/Brand Manager to join our Survival team based at our studio in Horsham, in the heart of West Sussex to work on creating unforgettable experiences to help drive resonance and growth of our titles amongst existing and new audiences.    
  
The successful candidate will be responsible for partnering with project leadership as well as cross-functional teams across studio and publishing to develop and drive compelling strategies for how our titles are expressed creatively and presented to the world both in the long-term and short-term. This role will also act as a central point to ensure that go-to-market campaigns and creative development is aligned with game and brand vision.    
   
The ideal candidate thinks strategically and creatively while also taking into applying insights from both quantitative and qualitative sources. They maintain a player-first mindset while striving to balance broader business objectives. They are clear communicators who can drive to alignment between various stakeholders to reach outcomes and proactively seeks solutions. Maintains a curious mindset on industry trends and is enthusiastic to seek new ways to find our audience.     

What you’ll be doing  

As the team grows and the project progresses there will be opportunities to specialise and shape the role.   

On a day-to-day basis you will:   

  • Champion and steward the brand vision within the organization as well as with external stakeholders   

  • Collaborate with development teams and teams across publishing to create global marketing strategies and campaigns that support individual title and portfolio objectives   

  • Lead and support the creation of engaging and distinct creative assets that are faithful to the brand and game vision.   

  • Monitor market trends, culture and competitor to help inform the business and strategic decisions   

  • Ensure creative and messaging across touchpoints are consistent and cohesive with the visual identity, tone and voice   

  • Synthesize qualitative and quantitative data to translate into actionable insights for strategic and creative decision making   

  • Act as a key advocate and resource in the team to ensure that player experience remains the highest priority.   

  • Oversee budget management and administrative responsibilities as required  

Additionally, those with senior level experience will:

  • Mentor and develop those around them

  • Contribute to build, maintaining and nurturing an effect and healthy team

  • Contribute extensive design experience and expert knowledge.

   

What we are looking for

Essential

  • Proven experience in brand or marketing disciplines with creation of go-to-market plans from concept to overseeing execution

  • Proactive and self-starter mindset that is comfortable with adapting to changing circumstances and ambiguity

  • Ability to influence and align cross-functional teams to work towards common objectives and goals

  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal accompanied by an ability to anticipate audience needs

  • Strong critical thinking and practice of discernment to solve problems and use foresight

  • Is curious with a strong desire to continue to learn with a growth mindset

Desirable

  • One or more shipped AAA projects

  • Experience working within a game development team

  • Passion for games
