Saber Interactive, developers behind Evil Dead: The Game, World War Z, and Warhammer 40K: Space Marine II, is looking for a Narrative Lead for a key role in an exciting new licensed title!

As the Narrative Lead, you will work with the Game Director and Chief Narrative Officer and be responsible for owning the game’s narrative. You will lead the narrative department in all matters relating to the characters and story of the game through cinematics, mission dialogue, lore, collectibles, and more for a game set in a prestige franchise IP.

What You’d Do

Be the driving voice on all things narrative
Be the internal go-to resource for matters of franchise canon
Work with producers to define workflows and schedules throughout the production
attend VO sessions
Create and maintain documentation needed to communicate the narrative vision of the game
Support various departments to ensure story and gameplay are working cohesively
Liaise with stakeholders and IP holders for all approvals & feedback as needed

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of industry experience as a Narrative Lead or similar role with at least one shipped PC/console game.
Strong understanding of interactive storytelling and game design
Experienced in writing documentation that can be read and understood by internal teams and partners alike
Comfort in presenting your ideas and work, both in-person and over video meetings
