Rockstar Toronto is on the lookout for a Production Coordinator to join our Shotgrid team in Technical Art. This role will assist in making some of the most highly respected and widely recognized AAA titles in video games. This is a full-time permanent position based out of Rockstar’s unique game development studio in Oakville.
The ideal candidate will be highly organized, and an exceptional communicator with a meticulous attention to detail. Previous production experience, as well as an understanding of task management and project management methodologies is a huge plus.

Production Coordinators work to improve global communication between various disciplines of Art, Code and Design to ensure there is a clear workflow, with transparency of moving parts, to our fellow developers.
We collaborate with Artists, Developers, Leads and Directors to schedule, track, and complete team goals.
We proactively use knowledge and experience to identify and solve problems before they affect our development teams.
Assist in tracking and scheduling tasks for our production team across various departments.
Build and maintain communication between departments and fellow associates on developing shared workflows.
Serve as a point of contact for prioritizing incoming requests and questions.
Proactively identify and resolve production issues.
Ensure meetings are properly documented and actioned.
Working with leads to create and maintain effective documentation.
Understand the needs and workflows of the Shotgrid team and connected teams, proactively helping to streamline our project management processes.
Help manage the flow of tasks and information between disciplines and team members.
Maintain an active awareness of team goals and timelines.
Assign, prioritize, and track tasks using our in-house project management tools.
Assist development teams in identifying and resolving issues preventing progress.
Proven industry experience in a production role on at least one AAA title or in VFX, film or TV with understanding of production pipelines
Experience with Shotgrid, Confluence, and other project tracking and bug database software.
Great interpersonal skills. Must be able to work closely in a team setting and with other departments.
A willingness to be involved in all aspects of the development process.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Positive, solution-oriented individual with a passion for game development and project management.
Excellent and confident communicator.
Eagerness to learn new workflows and software tools.
Ability to spot bottlenecks and proactively work to resolve issues.

Understanding of or willingness to learn software development practices.

Production experience working in games, entertainment, technology, or similar creative industry.
Experience with programming languages such as C++, C#, and Python.
Experience with Maya, Motionbuilder, and 3dsmax.
Experience contributing to the maintenance of a project plan and schedule.
Experience hosting meetings, presentations, and workshops.
Experience managing web content (wikis, dashboards, etc.).
Genuine enthusiasm for video games; especially Rockstar titles.
