Rockstar Games is seeking a Director of Territory Communications to join our London-based Publishing team. This is a unique opportunity to be a part of a global team responsible for developing and executing strategic communications for a multitude of high-impact releases.
This role will focus on driving the output of our communications teams across Europe, Asia, and Latin America, working with Communications leadership in New York to formulate global/local communications strategies for all Rockstar Games initiatives.
Candidates will have experience delivering communications strategies for blockbuster entertainment campaigns, a thorough understanding of current media and social media landscapes, and the ability to create both powerful and innovative press and publicity opportunities.
The successful candidate will share Rockstar Games’ passion for advancing culture and entertainment, possessing exceptional attention to detail and an unwavering commitment to high-quality output no matter the task.
This is a full-time, permanent and in-office position based in Rockstar’s unique game development studio in the heart of London.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Align with the global Communications teams and leadership to formulate creative and effective communications strategies for all Rockstar Games properties.
Transform local market strategies into cohesive global Communications plans spanning all forms of media and every phase of marketing from announcement through release and beyond.
Coordinate, collate, and effectively track all international Communications projects with teams across each region.
Collaborate with multiple teams to comfortably balance and prioritize a wide variety of project-specific deliverables.
QUALIFICATIONS
5+ years of communications experience in video games or related entertainment field.
Demonstratable knowledge of successful strategic marketing/communications campaigns across entertainment and culture.
Proven track record of objective-led and met campaigns and/or initiatives.
Comprehensive portfolio, including creative writing, accolades, and KPIs.
SKILLS
Exceptional planning, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
A thoughtful approach to all facets of work, with a genuine desire to achieve the best possible results, and above all, continue to learn.
An acute awareness of how to achieve wide-scale visibility across the media and social platform landscape.
A detail-oriented and organized approach to both autonomous and team-based workflows.
Ability to remain calm, cool, and collected in high-pressure scenarios, ultimately bringing a positive, solutions-oriented attitude to all interactions.
