As a Principal Frontend Engineer on the Avatar Search & Discovery team, you will be driving the innovation of search and discoverability products in the metaverse. You will create extensible and scalable UI components and tools within the Roblox Game Engine and web, providing the interface for a majority of all commerce occurring on the platform. You will also work with other teams to inspire creativity and improvements to the platform to facilitate future work to internal and developer facing systems. 8+ years of experience as a front-end or client apps engineer working on complex user interfaces.
Worked on large-scale consumer applications in React/Redux on various types of platforms.

A BS in Computer Science or equivalent work experience in a production environment.
For roles that are based at our headquarters in San Mateo, CA: The starting base pay for this position is as shown below. The actual base pay is dependent upon a variety of job-related factors such as professional background, training, work experience, location, business needs and market demand. Therefore, in some circumstances, the actual salary could fall outside of this expected range. This pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. All full-time employees are also eligible for equity compensation and for benefits.
