As an important part of the People Team, People Operations ensures that every Roblox employee has a great experience. This includes defining and driving core HR business programs, assembling comprehensive employment data, providing resources that detail HR practices, resolving employees' specific HR questions as they arise and supporting managers in growing their team members. You will report to the Senior Director, People Operations. Role is based at Roblox HQs in San Mateo, CA.
You Will:
Lead a team of 3-4 People Operations Associates dedicated to supporting Roblox managers and employees, inclusive of responding to their general process and policy questions and providing guidance on how to navigate specific employee situations
Significantly enhance the team’s expertise in assisting managers with addressing employee performance cases, accommodation requests and employee-impacting reorganizations while supporting the most complex cases personally
Own elements of HR service delivery and drive operational excellence through effective collaboration, robust data analysis and optimal process design, with an eye towards continuous improvement and automation
Build strong cross functional relationships with partners across the People team as well as Employee Relations, Legal, People Analytics and other key collaborators
Model and ensure that the team meets the highest standard of confidentiality and build trusted, productive relationships with stakeholders at every level of the company
Be accountable for the team’s data accuracy and guide them in conducting sophisticated strategic analysis to identify trends and inform business decisions
You Have:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
10+ years of relevant Human Resources experience, including 5+ years of experience directly managing a team
Expertise in HR topics such as performance management, employee relations and workforce planning
A track record of building and leading high performing teams as an outstanding people manager
You Are:
Adept at owning and optimizing HR processes and programs with a track record of driving continuous process improvement
Data savvy with a strong affinity for metrics, data analysis and using HR systems
An exceptional and highly responsive communicator who can interact effectively with all levels of the organization
Adept at presenting and influencing an executive audience
For roles that are based at our headquarters in San Mateo, CA: The starting base pay for this position is as shown below. The actual base pay is dependent upon a variety of job-related factors such as professional background, training, work experience, location, business needs and market demand. Therefore, in some circumstances, the actual salary could fall outside of this expected range. This pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. All full-time employees are also eligible for equity compensation and for benefits.
Annual Salary Range
$197,960—$231,250 USD
Roles that are based in our San Mateo, CA Headquarters are in-office Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, with optional in-office on Monday and Friday (unless otherwise noted).
