As an HRBP II reporting to the Manager, HRBP you will bring comprehensive HR skills to the teams and programs you support within Platforms & Technology. You will act as a strategic partner to leaders across various product lines and functions, supporting the People strategy. You will also ensure the consistent deployment of People tools and programs and adapting central programs for the group. You will be the go-to resource for talent-related matters, from performance management to total rewards, promoting our culture and deploying tools that convert Rioter potential into performance and results.

Responsibilities:

  • Address employee relations matters and use experience and knowledge to enable the process and collaborate on the appropriate outcomes.

  • Serve as a primary contact for initial leave of absence and accommodation-related questions in partnership with the HR Operations team.

  • Support performance management, including leading calibration sessions, group-specific training, messaging, and ensuring accountability in the process.

  • Partner with leadership and compensation to ensure fair compensation and job leveling.

  • Invest in deep partnership and collaboration with talent management, compensation, benefits, HR Ops, talent acquisition and other COE programs based on identified Riot needs; educate COEs on unique needs and practices in the group.

  • Perform periodic audits of information systems records, ensuring data accuracy in collaboration with disciplines and products.

  • Inform and deliver D&I projects based on the business group dynamic.

  • Create change management plans for significant organizational changes.

  • Contribute to organizational design with a focus on effectiveness and future growth, and design retention plans to engage and develop Rioters.

  • Participate in succession planning and other talent management strategies to address workforce gaps and blockers as part of broader capability planning.

  • Maintain an intimate understanding of product and discipline needs to build productive working relationships with your partners and Rioters at all levels.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in an HR generalist/business partner or specialist role with progressive responsibility.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management, Business, Organizational Design, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

  • Exceptional interpersonal, consulting, collaboration, and coaching skills.

  • Experience supporting diverse communities.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting cross-functional teams in the gaming or tech industry.

  • Working knowledge of US employment law.

  • (Los Angeles Only) Base salary range between $101,300.00 - $142,600.00 USD + incentive compensation + equity + 401K with company match + medical, dental, vision, and life insurance + short and long-term disability + open PTO.
