Role: Quality Designer II - Season Owner
We are looking for an experienced Quality Professional who is passionate about both process and gaming to join our team. You will be reporting to the QA Development Director in charge of our releases, working with them and a large team around the globe to lead each of our releases for Apex Legends. You will be the main person who will lead the testing strategy, create the high level plan, and ensure that tasks are completed on time, raising risks to partners. You will seek ways to improve delivery and help to ensure that we are predicable and sustainable release over release while still maintaining a Player-First mentality. You will work with other test professionals to ensure the team is focused on providing the strongest end-to-end coverage and experience for EA's players, and to help EA accomplish its commitment to putting Players First.
What skills do we look for?
Responsibilities:
Develop, and evolving reporting mechanisms, and communication of processes and knowledge to the teams.
Improve the effectiveness of a QA effort by assessing current practices and incorporating new strategies, including further use of technology, automation, and development of new test tools.
Form relationships across QA and development teams, and other essential partners.
Communicate risks, concerns, and successes to partners.
Mentor team members to guide their career development and progression.
You will always promote a "Player-First" approach and be an advocate for the player in everything we do to help us achieve a high-quality experience for our players.
Create and support the Quality Delivery plan for the upcoming release.
Experience:
5+ years experience as a Process Analyst or similar role, with experience driving process improvements and standardization.
You have experience with analytics with the ability to work with large datasets and interpret data insights.
Work with cross-functional teams and partners.
Knowledge of process management methodologies and tools
Have worked with team members in a global team environment across multiple countries and cultures
