Software Engineering Intern (Telemetry & Analytics)

Responsibilities
You will be a member of the Telemetry and Analytic's team working with senior engineers to process telemetry coming in from various devices in the PlayStation ecosystem. You will be working to solve problems related to data streaming, big data processing, real time analytics and insights. These insights will be key to improving the overall PlayStation platform both from a technical perspective as well as a business one.
Qualifications
- Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science (or related field) and/or within 1 year of their post-graduation date
- Familiarity with processing data streams.
- Knowledge or awareness of stream platforms such as Kafka, AWS MSK.
- Knowledge or exposure to analytics databases such as Druid.
- Working knowledge or experience with visualization tools like Zepplin, Presto or Pivot.
- Proficiency with Spark/EMR
