The Associate Build Analyst is an entry-level position at Sony Playstation. Initially this position will be a one year contract, and it can be located anywhere in Canada with the expectation that you will work Pacific time hours (9-5). An outstanding opportunity for a new graduate or technically minded individual who has experience with file transfer software and with scripting. This is a remote position.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Monitoring delivery pipelines. Monitoring and troubleshooting of agreed delivery phase in a game build pipeline.

  • Customer Support. Providing customer support for all aspects of service via Jira Service Desk, in conjunction with support from ALM

  • Documentation. Keeping all relevant service and process documentation updated

Share Responsibilities:

  • Implementing delivery pipelines. Ensure reliable, automated build delivery to QA staff and partners 

  • Project Optimisation. Utilise appropriate metrics to recommend improvements or changes to active services S

  • Service Metrics. Assist in the maintenance and advancement of reporting and metrics gathering processes.

  • Delivery Tools Support. Deployment and maintenance of existing/approved tools to aid delivery

  • Asset Capture. Coordination with stakeholders to ensure all relevant assets are synced to the relevant IP Preservation staging area.

  • Asset Curation – Sorting Curation of assets into their correct folder structures in the IP Preservation staging area

Required Skills/Experiences:

  • Experience with file transfer software.

  • Experience with scripting languages (XML, JSON, YAML, PowerShell…)

  • Experience with Databases and data analysis.

  • Excellent interpersonal communication and presentation skills

  • Technically Minded

  • Detail-Oriented

  • Experience working with CI/CD pipelines is beneficial but not required.
