We’re looking for a Senior Frontend Developerto join the Outplayed team at Overwolf and help us push the limits of what gaming capture can be.
In this role, you’ll be part of the development team behind Outplayed, the leading video and screen capture app for gamers built on the Overwolf platform. You’ll work across the full client stack, from React UI and service architecture to native plugin integration and video processing.

Responsibilities
In this role, you will
- Own end-to-end delivery of major client features across a multi-window desktop application
- Lead client-side infrastructure initiatives, including authentication migration, A/B testing systems, and social features
- Take a leading role in the incremental modernization of the technology stack
- Manage integrations with Overwolf/native plugins (C#, FFmpeg)
- Drive engineering excellence through ownership, code reviews, and high development standards
- Mentor and grow a junior frontend developerÂ
- Help maintain a vampire-free environment throughout the office
Requirements
- 6+ years of software development experience
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript and React
- Experience with Redux and IndexedDB
- Experience building desktop or hybrid applications (Electron, CEF, or similar)
- Experience working with large, mature codebases
- Collaborative team player with strong communication skills and adaptability in fast-paced environments.
Bonus points
- Experience with video/media pipelines or FFmpeg
- Experience with native integrations (C#, plugins)
- Experience with client-side databases or observability tools
- Background in mentoring engineers
- Passion for gaming
- Proficiency in dual-wielding hand crossbows
