Overtime is looking for an International Social Video Editor to join our Social team full-time. Based in NYC, Overtime is funded by top venture capital firms like Andreessen Horowitz and Spark and by industry leaders like Kevin Durant and NBA Commissioner Emeritus David Stern. Overtime is building the biggest sports network in the world for the next generation of fans. We use tech, new platforms, and new formats to drive a billion video views every month. We publish our short-form content and long-form series across 7 platforms focusing on basketball, football, soccer, and gaming. We own a pro esports team, have a fast-growing apparel business, and basically do everything differently from a standard media company. Overtime is led by seasoned entrepreneurs with deep experience in the intersecting worlds of sports and media, and a strong track record of building successful startups and guiding them through acquisition.

What you’ll do

  • Partner with Creative Producers and Post-Production team editing to help distribute content on all platforms
  • Come up with ways to get our videos out in the most effective and efficient way possible
  • Edit multiple videos and formats both unscripted and scripted from raw footage to final product
  • Tell compelling stories in the OT voice
  • Quickly assemble edits and implement notes from creatives and clients
  • Edit highlights, social stories, features, mini doc’s, reality shows and brand partnerships
  • Tell us how to innovate our content to separate us from the rest
  • Edit live events in real time
  • Come up with creative ideas to break news in real time
  • Manage multiple projects with constantly shifting deadlines
  • Obsess over optimizing content for best performance on social platforms - SnapChat, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Instagram Story, IGTV & Tik Tok

Who you are

  • Knowledge of multiple languages, must be conversant in French, bonus points for multiple languages
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Super creative, never satisfied with the status quo
  • Fast af and the most digitally savvy person you know
  • Reliable and available to work off hours and weekends
  • Flexibility to adapt with changing timelines and deliverables
  • Emphasis on organization and attention to detail
  • Proactive, positive team player, able to help guide projects from ingest to delivery
  • Huge sports fan, especially basketball and football (soccer is a plus), and avidly follow sports social media
  • 1 year or more experience working in a professional environment on digital content preferably using SnapChat, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, & Tik Tok
  • Advanced knowledge of Mac OS and Adobe Creative Cloud apps including Premiere Pro, Photoshop, and After Effects, bonus for familiarity with GFX/VFX
  • Balance and grade color, and mix and level audio within Adobe Premiere
  • Experience shooting content a plus, but not required
