NVIDIA is seeking an outstanding, highly motivated Software Verification Student to join our SW Verification Group. We are looking for a candidate who can thrive in an environment with complex software test designs and implementations, take ownership, and be responsible for the SW Verification.

This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in SW networking and automation while working with experienced engineers on real products used in leading data centers.

What you’ll be doing

  • Assist in designing and implementing test and automation code in C/C++ and Python for networking and transport features.
  • Develop and run basic functional and regression tests for connection-oriented networking flows.
  • Help analyze logs and traces from host, NIC, and DPU to understand and debug issues together with mentors.
  • Support the team in maintaining test environments, scripts, and simple tools for day-to-day verification work.
  • Learn how to read design and specification documents and translate them into test scenarios.

What we need to see

  • B.Sc. student in Computer Science, Computer/Software Engineering, or a related field, with at least three semesters remaining.
  • Academic or personal project experience in programming (C/C++ and/or Python).
  • Basic understanding of operating systems and low-level software concepts (threads, memory, I/O).
  • Ability to learn quickly, work independently on well-defined tasks, and ask questions when something is unclear.
  • Good communication skills and willingness to work in a collaborative team environment.

Ways to stand out from the crowd

  • Experience working with AI-based coding assistants and relevant frameworks (for example, Cursor AI, Claude Code, or similar tools) to improve productivity and code quality.
  • Experience with Linux and/or Windows development environments (compilers, build systems, scripting, debugging tools).
  • Participation in open-source projects, coding competitions, or relevant university clubs.
