QA Software Student, Firmware Tools and Secure Firmware

We are seeking a motivated student to join our Firmware Tools & secure Firmware Testing team as a QA Intern.

As part of our QA group, you will help test the Firmware tools that enable NVIDIA products to achieve industry-leading efficiency and quality.

This opportunity is ideal for students who are eager to learn about firmware, develop hands-on testing skills, and contribute to real-world projects.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Review architecture design and requirements for new features introduced in the Firmware.
• Design, develop, and create tests for new features as part of firmware GA releases.
• Report bugs found during execution, assist with reproduction and debugs to understand root cause, verify bug fixes provided by R&D team.
• Develop Python automation tests to be integrated as part of the regression automation suite.
• Execute tests in different scopes: regression, performance, functional, security; report the progress of testing and provide summary reports of testing activity.
• Define and build setups topologies for appropriate product coverage.

What We Need to See:

• Currently pursuing a BSc in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
• Some experience or coursework in programming (Python or other languages preferred).
• Willingness to work independently, take responsibility, and learn new skills.
• Ability to work in a lab environment as required.
• Clear verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Team player with a positive attitude and desire to contribute.

Ways to Stand Out From the Crowd:

• Familiarity with Bash or Python scripting.
• Interest or coursework in Networking.
• Experience with Linux and Windows operating systems.
• Any prior experience with testing or QA (course projects, internships, etc.).
