DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:

  • Mines data from primary and secondary data sources and reorganizes into a format that can easily be read by human or machine

  • Collaborates with engineers, programmers, and organizational leaders to identify opportunities for process improvements, recommended system modifications, and assist with developing policies for local data governance

  • Develops queries and data collection methods that optimize statistical efficiency and data quality

  • Automates data processes and models including extractions, transformations, and visualizations

  • Monitors and reports key measures of product performance using spreadsheets, business intelligence tools, and formal group presentations

  • Collaborates with workgroups and end-users to wireframe and publish effective informational dashboards and other related data products

  • Provides subject matter expertise on Nintendo production and repair processes and data collection systems

  • Leads small workgroups and project teams toward a common goal and communicates progress effectively to leadership and stakeholders

  • Creates appropriate documentation that allows stakeholders to understand the steps of the analysis process and duplicate or replicate the analysis if necessary

SUMMARY OF REQUIREMENTS:

  • Three or more years’ experience providing technical product support including troubleshooting and analysis of electronic systems.

  • Proven experience using common root cause analysis methodologies

  • Advanced skills using Microsoft Excel for ad-hoc data analysis

  • Experience leading small workgroup projects using formal project management methodologies and tools

  • Demonstrated experience using business intelligence tools to provide impactful data visualizations

  • Strong business and operational acumen with focus on field service and repair

  • Basic understanding of central tendency measures, sample sizes, hypothesis testing, regression analysis, and correlation testing

  • Able to understand and develop SQL statements

  • Able to effectively communicate technical details at a high level with non-technical, and/or diverse audiences

  • Oracle experience preferred

  • Bachelors degree in a related field or at least three years equivalent work experience

This position includes a base salary range of $72,457 - $108,685 annually, potential for a semi-annual discretionary performance bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and paid time off.
