 Tasks

  • Preparation, coordination, and review of German tax returns as well as tax filings for the European branches in collaboration with external advisors
  • Calculating and reviewing the monthly tax reporting for the German Headquarter and the branches within Europe  
  • Ensuring withholding tax compliance and managing refund/exemption processes 
  • Supporting and advising on Nintendo’s international transfer pricing strategy and documentation, including Advanced Pricing, Agreements (APAs) and Mutual Agreements Procedures (MAPs), to optimize the organization’s tax position 
  • Assisting with tax audits in Germany and abroad
  • Ensuring compliance with international tax laws and regulations across various jurisdiction
  • Initiating, coordinating and managing tax-relevant projects
  • Ensuring compliance with Japan-SOX requirements

 Requirements

  • Academic qualification in Taxation (Certified tax advisor preferred but not necessarily required) or equivalent qualification in Finance or Business Administration
  • Strong technical tax and accounting background and understanding of regulatory compliance requirements
  • First knowledge in international tax regulations and transfer pricing documentation 
  • Able to work independently, having the ability to work well in a team, high commitment and good communication skills
  • Fluent written and spoken English and German skills
  • SAP skills are beneficial but not necessary
