DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:
Responsible for leading, guiding and informing overall program strategy and execution plans, using deep understanding of the product experience
Identifies, establishes and aligns product marketing strategy and objectives with Executive Team and key stakeholders
Identifies and understands key product features and messaging; leads the communication of key product features and messaging to Nintendo strategic teams
Contributes and communicates strategies, objectives, and progress to executives and internal cross-functional teams, ensuring executional integration and alignment across all levels of the organization
Ensures strong global coordination and alignment through consistent, effective communication with global stakeholders.
Serves as project or campaign lead for key product and service campaign teams and company level initiatives
Collaborates with leaders and teams from across Nintendo and contributes to the establishment of product strategies that guide overall execution, working closely with marketing, sales and other teams as needed.
Acts as subject matter expert guiding teams responsible for preparation, review and distribution of key product assets on established timelines; leads product support for all launch execution tactics.
May serve as product or activation lead on key campaign teams and company-wide initiatives.
Leads discussions on product experience strategy and direction
Works closely with Nintendo product development to deeply understand the intended product experience and inform the Nintendo of America team focus and execution plans
Balances input and feedback from product team management, development teams, North American market factors, internal input, Nintendo of
America executives, and product knowledge for successful global execution
Contributes extensively to successful product experience launch plans
Works closely with marketing lead to guide strategic priorities and product experience insights, taking into consideration partner approaches to establish strong marketing plans and tactics with exceptional execution.
Reviews and comments on marketing creative for TV commercials, online advertising, print advertising, PR plans, and other assets to ensure alignment with experience
Works effectively in close collaboration with teams to review assets, including video, PR and print, and marketing collateral.
Collaborates with marketing teams as appropriate for presence at key trade, industry, and consumer events, both Nintendo and partner-led
SUMMARY OF REQUIREMENTS:
8 to 10 years of related experience required
Three to five years of management or cross-disclipline product leadership experience
Strong written and verbal communication skills including presentation skills
Entertainment (movies/music/video/theme park) and/or licensed merchandise experience strongly preferred
Understanding of Japanese language preferred
Experience with IP licensing and media production and development
Working knowledge of computer programs such as Word, Excel, presentation software required
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work closely, cooperatively, and effectively with partners, different departments and with parent company required
Previous experience in product marketing, localization, product development or related field required
Strong knowledge of Nintendo history and franchises
Sound decision making skills
Presentation, reporting and analysis skills
Undergraduate degree in Business or applicable field required
Valid passport required
This position is hybrid in Redmond, WA. Hybrid positions require regular onsite work following the schedule and guidelines for their division. This position is not open to fully remote status at this time.
This position includes a base salary range of $161,670 - $242,506 annually, potential for a semi-annual discretionary performance bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and paid time off.
