DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:
Responsible for definition, management, and delivery of strategic marketing programs in collaboration with licensed partners
Oversees definition, planning, communication, and execution of promotional and marketing activities in collaboration with external partners.
Coordinates large-scale and global promotional activities, such as product launches, promotions, advertising, and collateral programs
Engages with business and product development teams, as well as other internal stakeholders across the organization, to align marketing plans and efforts in support of business priorities
Communicates partner marketing plans internally to key stakeholders; works closely with program management to ensure deadlines and dependencies are met.
Manages marketing approvals and related process in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
Reviews all partner materials to assure compliance with Nintendo guidelines, alignment with agreed upon timelines, and consistency in messaging
Balances input and feedback from Nintendo subsidiaries and senior leadership to ensure successful partner product introductions
Contributes to overall partner marketing program strategy and Nintendo approach.
Leverages Nintendo internal teams to support partner marketing initiatives.
Closely coordinates with partner and Nintendo category teams to report and measure results and impact
Serves as primary point of contact for marketing strategy and tactics with partner and internal stakeholders
Tracks partner marketing assets, status, and documentation as needed working with program management team
Communicates effectively across multiple channels with relevant partners and internal team members
Contributes to problem solving and mitigating potential issues
SUMMARY OF REQUIREMENTS:
Eight or more years of related experience (marketing, licensed product, promotions, brand management or similar)
Intermediate PC skills (Microsoft Office, Excel, OneDrive, etc)
Strong written and verbal communication skills including presentation skills
Entertainment (movies/music/video/theme park) and/or licensed merchandise experience strongly preferred
Fluency in English and Japanese a plus for this role
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work closely, cooperatively, and effectively with partners, different departments and with parent company required
Previous experience in product marketing or related field required
Sound decision making skills
Presentation, reporting and analysis skills
Undergraduate degree in Business or applicable field
Valid passport may be required for international travel
This position is hybrid in Redmond, WA. Hybrid positions require regular onsite work following the schedule and guidelines for their division. This position is not open to fully remote status at this time.
This position includes a base salary range of $155,501 - $233,251 annually, potential for a semi-annual discretionary performance bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and paid time off.
