DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:

  • Partners with internal teams at Nintendo of America and Nintendo globally to drive the implementation of Nintendo’s strategic goals and deliver large scale and global business initiatives.

  • Oversees coordination of efforts among various departments by assignment of action items and communicating project progress.

  • Develops and leads global program and communication processes for meaningful and efficient management of IP expansion initiatives.

  • Collaborates with key internal and external stakeholders to manage global coordination and alignment of project deliverables, from product greenlight to marketing execution and availability

  • Creates and leads timely communications to stakeholders to ensure consistent high-quality plan and execution.

  • Collaborates with external partners to amplify the Nintendo brand and consumer experience through licensed Nintendo products and experiences.

  • Communicates strategies, objectives, and progress to executives and internal cross-functional teams, ensuring executional alignment across all levels of the organization.

  • Coordinates with outside production partners and vendors on production, approvals and deliverables and engages with partner contacts as appropriate.

  • Manages asset approvals and related process in collaboration with internal stakeholders.

  • In conjunction with partner(s), ensures accurate post-launch and wrap-up reporting, and distribution of reports to all stakeholders.

  • Works closely and regularly communicates with Nintendo Company Limited (NCL) and Nintendo of America (NOA) team members; drives effective communications across internal teams.

  • Communicates with Nintendo global offices and contacts as necessary to align global marketing communications and activities.

  • Leads communications with internal stakeholders and external partners in order to encourage and reach mutual understanding and alignment.

  • Balances input and feedback from NOA executives, NCL management, subsidiary teams and other Nintendo internal teams as appropriate to ensure successful partner product launches and execution.

  • Contributes extensively to successful product marketing plans.

  • Responsible for resource forecasting and project budgets.

SUMMARY OF REQUIREMENTS:

  • 6-8 years related experience in project / program management

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work closely, cooperatively, and effectively with different departments and with parent company required

  • Licensed merchandise, entertainment industry/theme park business and/or video game industry knowledge preferred

  • Knowledge of project management skills, techniques and tools (Confluence, JIRA, SharePoint)

  • Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to gain cooperation among multiple departments and individuals representing various functions

  • Experience managing multiple and varied projects

  • Understanding of Japanese language helpful, but not required

  • Undergraduate degree in Business or applicable field

  • Valid passport required

This position is hybrid in Redmond, WA. Hybrid positions require regular onsite work following the schedule and guidelines for their division. This position is not open to fully remote status at this time.

This position includes a base salary range of $130,262 - $195,392 annually, potential for a semi-annual discretionary performance bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and paid time off.
