DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:

We are seeking an entry-level engineer who is available during the summer of 2024 to join the team working on networking software for our consoles. We are looking for people who are excellent team players and work well on individual assignments. In addition, the successful candidate will be a high-energy problem-solver with a passion for excellence. Potential tasks may include research, feature prototyping, improvements, optimizations, or software development.

SUMMARY OF REQUIREMENTS:

  • Rising senior pursuing BS or MS in Computer Science or Engineering related field (MS preferred)

  • Strong C/C++ development skills

  • Ability to self-drive progress through search, experimentation and some questions to team members

  • Experience with computer systems (operating systems, firmware, schedulers, allocators, IPC, etc.) preferred

  • Experience with multithreaded development preferred

  • Experience/knowledge with computer networking (TCP/IP, DNS, SSL/TLS, HTTP, firewalls, routers, etc.) preferred

This position is onsite in Redmond, WA, and not open to remote status at this time.

This contract position has a base pay range of $40 per hour and is eligible for benefits through the employing agency.
