Nintendo of America’s IT team is looking for a Business Systems Analyst who will be the frontline to our business customers, supporting their needs, and translating their requirements into developed solutions. An ideal candidate would have a strong accounting background with experience in supporting Oracle E-Business Suite Financial Management applications and familiarity with Amazon Web Services. DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:
Serve as liaison between business constituents and internal IT teams to provide support of existing systems and translate business concepts and requirements into software solutions and roadmaps.
Conducts research and analysis of client business processes in order to make recommendations and exert influence on project direction or decide sub-project direction.
Assess the feasibility and cost effectiveness of proposed solutions and advise clients and key stakeholders.
Partners with business constituents to define and prioritize ongoing technology needs, determine overall application controls and application security requirements, ensuring those controls/requirements are documented.
Works collaboratively with software engineers to translate defined requirements into developed solutions.
Coordinates technical and application support with third party vendors.
Participates in software development lifecycle (SDLC) activities, including requirements gathering, design, configurations, creating and executing test cases and analyzing results.
Responsible for the triage, disposition, and remediation of emerging production support requests/issues.
Responsible for training employees in areas of expertise relating to application, or business process.
Ensures work is completed in such a way to comply with established best practice, compliance requirements, regulations and internal controls.
Provides on-call support as needed.
SUMMARY OF REQUIREMENTS:
Typically requires a minimum of 4 years of related experience in various software development technologies, patterns and practices.
Professional experience in business analysis using professional concepts to meet company objectives to resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways.
Experience with work on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
Ability to perform Structured System Analysis
Good understanding of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle Methodologies)
Basic SQL query development skills
Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Business Administration, Information Technology, Information Systems, or equivalent combination of education and experience
This position includes a base salary range of $80,921 - $121,381 annually, potential for a semi-annual discretionary performance bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and paid time off.
