Responsibilities:
Create wireframes, mockups, user flows, and prototypes as needed. This will be both from scratch and within existing designs
Responsible for creating UI art, assets, and animations
Able to take feedback (from players, user research, and leads) and translate it to actionable solutions
Experience collaborating across teams with an inclusive approach to solve complex user-experience challenges
Be able to easily communicate intentions and needs to various departments
Assist UI Scripters and Engineers with implementing assets
Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed
Requirements & Skills:
Professional level of UI/UX skills (Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Human-Computer Interaction, equivalent field, or equivalent experience)
5+ years of industry experience, preferably on a AAA title
Self-sufficient and self-motivated; able to manage workload and meet project deadlines
Able to communicate and advocate for user-centered design approach with other teams
Understanding of graphic design principles as they relate to balancing information hierarchy and aesthetics
Proficient with industry standard programs (i.e. Adobe Creative Suite)
Bonus Skills:
Experience developing multiplayer games
Experience with controller UI
Experience with user research and playtesting
Familiarity with UI editors (Unity, Unreal or other)
Passion for UI, UX, art, game design, and gaming
As a part of the Naughty Dog application process, candidates will be expected to provide a portfolio of their work and may be asked to complete a design test, in addition to a phone screen.

At SIE, we consider several factors when setting each role’s base pay range, including the competitive benchmarking data for the market and geographic location. Please note that the base pay range may vary in line with our hybrid working policy and individual base pay will be determined based on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location.

The estimated base pay range for this role is listed below.
$125,000—$187,400 USD
