The team is looking for a Senior Software Engineering Lead to manage a group of software engineers who will drive innovation in tools for Minecraft creators. As a Senior Software Engineering Lead, you will take ownership of the end-to-end technical vision and implementation. Your time will be split between people management, project architecture definition and planning, and individual contributions to the codebase. You will work with peers across disciplines (Design, Production, and Quality) to build vital features on a schedule.

Growing a team with software engineering practices, including supporting team members’ growth.
Designing solutions for systems with extensible and maintainable quality code.
Leading design, implementation, and code reviews across the feature area. Mentoring team members on doing these at quality.
Actively communicating within and across teams to reach outcomes through collaboration.
Optimizing team processes to improve productivity and responding to feedback and changing priorities.

Software Engineering M4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $112,000 - $218,400 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $145,800 - $238,600 per year.
