In early 2021, the Keywords business expanded their global operations across the pacific to the Australian market where we currently employ 200+ staff across our Tantalus Media, Wicked Witch and Mighty Games brands in Melbourne, Brisbane and now Adelaide where we are undergoing exciting growth as we gear up exclusively for AAA game development across various platforms including PlayStation, Xbox, Switch and PC.
Job Description
The position of Digital Designer is a freelance contractor position which will be responsible for supporting the internal and external brand development of Keywords’ Australian studios. The role includes brand development, graphic and website design. The successful applicant will be working with Global Marketing Team and local leadership to create content that matches the studio’s brand, aesthetic, and marketing strategy, including social media graphics, website banners, and promotional artwork. The Digital Designer must be able to work independently, think creatively and have a strong background in multimedia arts.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The responsibilities of the Digital Designer role can be broken down into the following core areas;
Corporate Branding
Mainly responsible in all branding activities of the Australian studios including Tantalus Media, Wicked Workshop and Mighty Games
Responsible in managing the studio and project websites which includes creation, updating, and maintenance.
Create studio and project templates (such as PowerPoint) following the company’s brand guidelines.
In charge of creating all KWA studio’s branding, collaterals, and assets for Melbourne International Games Week (MIGW) and other marketing and sales events
Creates different marketing collaterals needed by internal stakeholders such as job posting, social media campaigns, promotional videos, paraphernalia, etc.
Produce different designs and concepts for corporate giveaways.
Ensures that all collaterals – for online posting and printed (including office design) are in line with company branding.
Stakeholder Management
Proactively coordinate with internal stakeholders, the Australian leadership team and Global Marketing Team to ensure timely creation of necessary graphic materials.
Create touch point with stakeholders to identify their requirements.
Regularly meet with Global Marketing team to ensure that KWA studio is up to date with the company’s branding guidelines.
Secure approval from Global Marketing team for all graphic contents specifically for external use.
Qualifications
The Digital Designer must have previous work-related experience and must possess the following skills:
Intermediate to Advance graphic and web design
Experience with brand development
Experience with designing for online materials and printed materials
Strong communication skills
High Level of time management, planning and organisational skills
Ability to deal with conflict and work under pressure
Ability to work quickly and to tight deadlines
Additional Information
The position will be Hybrid working, when in the office time will be split between our Fitzroy Studio and Box Hill location.
