The role will lead Luckbox’s overarching communication strategy, amplifying our share of voice, ensuring brand messaging and reinforcing positioning to build salience amongst the target audience through media coverage, opinion leader engagement and content amplification. The position will also oversee our IR approach, liaising with external stakeholders to craft our messaging, and develop a cadence of content and distribution.

Luckbox is entering an exciting phase in its history and is launching meaningful player acquisition on a big scale for the first time in its history. We are also leading innovation in the space with core product development catered to a new generation of bettors to truly disrupt the industry. This role will be pivotal in defining our positioning and messaging to engage gamers authentically, and in their native environment. The role will be critical to the growth and success of the brand.

Communications Planning

  • Develop an integrated communication strategy and tactical plan across EMO (earned, managed, and owned) channels together with the Head of Content, Marketing Director, and other internal stakeholders.

  • Own the communication plan and messaging across all campaign touchpoints for TTL advertising.

  • Identify great story angles and opportunities from our marketing team and network and translate them into attractive media products for our communication channels.

  • Develop and define overarching messaging for the brand, and refine our positioning to improve brand salience

  • Support the annual campaign planning cycle, optimizing messaging, performance, and timing

Building a Network

  • Foster growth of all relevant channels by attracting an authentic target audience.

  • Oversee the earned media strategy, identifying key relevant partners and sponsorship opportunities, such as teams, events and influencers

  • Identify and constantly reflect on the most important media that matter in the market to build share of voice

  • Lead the affiliate and influencer marketing programs, positioning Luckbox as leaders in the field by generating ideas to add value to our funnel

  • Identify the target audience, where they operate and how to credibly reach them.

Data

  • Use data-driven approach to iterate communications strategy

  • Measure and evaluate our earned impact beyond awareness, understanding total value across the funnel

  • Work closely with the product team to understand consumer preferences and perspectives in order to support the marketing and product team in optimizing our player journey and experience, and build innovative products

Campaign Execution

  • Establish key goals, messages, and tactics for communications initiatives and identify the right tools and amplification channels for each campaign

  • Develop strategic editorial media partnerships to expand our audience footprint and build TOM awareness and share of voice

  • Work closely with Head of Content to develop a communications and content approach to leverage our key assets in the market

  • Manage a dedicated communications budgets to achieve objectives

IR

  • Liaise with external advisors to shape the IR communications strategy and investor relations approach, overseeing distribution across key channels inclusive of corporate website, newsletters, and social media

  • Manage relevant IR collateral including presentation decks, videos and graphics for owned and external channels

  • Manage IR communications planning and delivery, identifying proactive opportunities for thought leadership, interviews and exposure in industry and mainstream media outlets

Qualifications and Experience:

  • 5 years experience in a communications role

  • Gambling experience preferred, esports knowledge / experience is a bonus

  • Proven experience in managing a brand communications strategy

  • Experience in planning media (agency or client side)

  • Experience of working across global campaigns and localizing campaigns per market

  • Experience in integrated plans across multiple media channels

  • Experience in budget management, campaign performance analysis, and utilizing audience insights to guide strategy and planning

  • Experience in campaign creative and messaging

  • IR experience a bonus

You can work remotely as long as you are in a EU timezone or from our offices in Plovdiv, Bulgaria and Douglas, Isle of Man.
