As a Junior Data Scientist within King’s Central Insights team, you will play a pivotal role in leveraging data insights to influence strategic decisions and enhance the overall success of our games. This role involves using a range of data analysis methodologies to model and provide insights into player behavior within our games. You will work closely with our senior data scientists and other teams such as product development, finance and strategy to help improve the player experience, optimize game performance, and contribute to the overall success of our games.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand company needs and devise possible solutions by interpreting data.
Run simulations at scale of player and game models.
Perform data mining to identify patterns, trends, and insights in complex data sets.
Assist in building predictive models and machine-learning algorithms.
Present information using data visualization techniques.
Propose solutions and strategies to business challenges.
Build, develop and maintain data models, reporting systems, data automation systems, dashboards and performance metrics support that support key business decisions.
Qualifications and Skills
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, Statistics, or relevant field.
Proven experience as a Data Scientist or Data Analyst would be a plus.
Understanding of machine learning models, data mining, and segmentation techniques.
Knowledge of programming languages like Python, R, or SQL.
Strong problem-solving skills with an emphasis on product development.
Ability to analyze data and create clear visualizations for teams and stakeholders.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Experience in a mobile gaming company would be an added benefit.
