In this role, you will collaborate with the Product Manager to co-create the strategy and roadmap for the domain, ensuring its effective delivery. With a strong technical background in highly scalable, distributed systems, you will foster open communication and collaboration with our engineers while cultivating a supportive and innovative engineering culture in line with our values.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate closely with the Product Manager to develop and implement the Telemetry strategy and roadmap
Engage with other engineering teams to define and track dependencies, encouraging multi-functional cooperation
Empower and mentor engineering teams to deliver the roadmap
Champion the delivery of high-quality, user-focused features through teamwork and collaboration
Advocate for and implement modern, agile software development practices, with a focus on continuous improvement
Contribute to the development and promotion of exceptional engineering and organizational practices, emphasizing inclusiveness and collaboration
Cultivate a supportive engineering culture that aligns with what we value and embraces diversity
Encourage and drive innovation within the team, promoting a safe environment for sharing ideas
Manage performance and hold accountability for team achievements, celebrating successes and learning from challenges
Oversee and manage cloud spending for the team, encouraging responsible resource utilization
Qualifications and Skills:
Proven experience leading and nurturing diverse tech teams, including guiding fellow managers
Excellent communication skills, with experience engaging with senior leaders (VP) and team members alike
Strong track record of delivering complex products on time through collaborative efforts
Ability to inspire, motivate, and develop impactful teams by fostering an inclusive environment
Skilled in building consensus and promoting collaboration, while balancing customer approval and forward momentum
Experience in creating and delivering outcome-focused products, with guidance from diverse perspectives
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a commitment to fostering open and respectful interpersonal communication
