We are seeking a highly analytical and impact-driven Monetisation Analyst to join the Ad Monetisation & Growth team supporting Candy Crush Saga.
Reporting to the Advertising Monetisation & Strategy Manager, this role combines data analysis, experimentation, and cross-functional execution to identify monetisation opportunities and drive measurable revenue growth. You will partner closely with Monetisation Managers, Product, Data, Adops, Platform Solution & Engineering teams, Operators both within the Xbox Advertising and game studio in order to translate insights and hypotheses into structured experiments and scalable optimisation strategies.

Responsibilities
- Design, execute, and analyse A/B tests and experiments with strong statistical rigor.
- Partner directly with game team operators to implement experiments, ensuring hypotheses are translated into live configurations and measurable changes.
- Perform deep-dive analyses on ad monetisation performance, identifying trends, risks, and growth opportunities.
- Generate clear, data-backed hypotheses aimed at driving incrementality and sustainable revenue uplift.
- Collaborate with Monetisation Managers and Product teams to prioritise high-impact initiatives aligned with broader growth strategy.
- Work closely with Data Analytics and Data Science to ensure measurement frameworks are robust and scalable.
- Translate complex datasets into clear, actionable insights for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Maintain structured documentation of experiments, methodologies, and learnings to support continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.
- Contribute to improving experimentation workflows and leveraging automation or AI-enabled tools to increase efficiency.
Skills to Create Thrills (aka Minimum Qualifications)
- 3–6 years of experience in Advertising, Mobile Gaming, Ad Tech or a related analytical field.
- Strong SQL proficiency with the ability to independently analyse large datasets.
- Hands-on experience designing, running, and interpreting A/B tests.
- Solid understanding of advertising ecosystems (mediation platforms, ad networks, SSPs/DSPs).
- Experience working directly with operational or live game teams to execute experiments or feature rollouts.
- Strong problem-structuring skills with the ability to move from ambiguity to actionable recommendations.
- Clear communicator who can influence both technical stakeholders and operational partners.
- Strong ownership mindset and ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in mobile gaming or in-app advertising monetisation.
- Familiarity with hypothesis testing, regression analysis, or other statistical methods.
- Capable of building highly functional and beautiful dashboards
- Exposure to automation frameworks or AI-enabled analytical workflows.
- Experience with data visualisation tools such as Looker.
- Experience with at least one analytical programming language such as R or Python is a plus.
