Keywords Studios is a world-leading video game service provider, offering Art Services, Game Development, Marketing Services, Player Research, and much more, to key video game developers and publishers, with more than 70 studios located across 20+ countries and 5 different continents.
We are now looking to hire an IT Systems Administrator to support Keywords IT Infrastructure for two of our companies, both based in Brighton (UK). TrailerFarm β an award-winning creative agency delivering creative content to game makers globally. And Player Research β an internationally-renowned research agency, helps game developers leverage player psychology, data, and feedback. Additionally, you will support broader IT strategy and operations in the UK and globally.
Here you will work very closely with the studios across the different Keywords Service Lines to support, deliver and maintain the IT Infrastructure and all the related services in support of the business and its IT initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Take responsibility for the information technology and computer systems in two Brighton-based studios, totalling around 70 staff.
implement and ensure the continuous operations of their IT requirements, integrating with Keywords substantial global IT infrastructure and operating procedures
The primary point of contact for any IT matters for local staff and management
Identify problematic areas and report them on time
Participate in Studio audits and lead IT-related parts of it
Manage annual Studio IT budgets and ensure cost-effectiveness
Ensure Keywords Studios IT security policies are enforced and adjusted accordingly with local and client requirements
Ensure the security of data, network access, and backup systems
Procure new IT equipment with sensitivity to the best value for cost and create inventories for all items
Develop and/or improve upon existing IT solutions to serve new service line requirements
Work closely with Regional IT Infrastructure Manager to support all aspects of the business-as-usual activities.
Keep up to date with the latest technologies and makes recommendations for technology growth.
Identify opportunities to reduce regional infrastructure costs.
Collaborate with Global and Regional IT teams and participate in IT-related discussions.
Support the Global IT Managers to improve the operational systems, processes, and policies in support of organizational goals

Requirements
Strong technical background with 5+ years experience in IT role delivering infrastructure, applications, and IT service support.
Strong technical knowledge of the Microsoft Stack, Windows networking, Active Directory, Exchange, SharePoint
Strong technical knowledge of Network, Storage, and Server equipment and production setups
Strong passion for and experience with Change Management processes
Demonstrable evidence of successful collaboration with peers and business partners
Experience with Video Rendering, television audio/visual technology, or video game development will be a plus.
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
Excellent facilitation and presentation skills.
Excellent organizational skills
Ability to explain complex systems in non-technical terms
Ability to use good judgment to prioritize tasks.
Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, complex environment
Able to manage sensitive and sometimes confidential information
