Keywords is an international technical services provider to the global games industry. The Brazilian Portuguese Game Linguist role is to translate from English into Brazilian Portuguese in game content. This role requires excellent language skills, creativity and a passion for Games.

This position is In-house working on a client specific project expected to last 10 months, with potential for longer commitment. The role requires working at our Keywords office for the full duration of the project. Our office is located at Calz. Gral. Mariano Escobedo 218 Mexico City 11320 Mexico. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a team focusing on in game content for a leading games publisher.

Duties and Responsibilities

Translate, review and perform linguist tasks for in-game / non-in game content from English to Brazilian Portuguese to a high quality standard
Be responsible for all linguistic aspects of the translations you are assigned to ensure the best possible quality is achieved
Collaborate with other linguists on the project
Native level Brazilian Portuguese speaker
Passion for games industry
Educational qualification in linguistics or equivalent experience
Experience in translation, copywriting or linguistics
Excellent verbal and written linguistic skills both in Brazilian Portuguese and English
Must be self-motivated and able to operate in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
Strong interpersonal skills
