As a Web Gaming Product Solutions Engineer and Go-to-Market Specialist, you will be taking on a multi-faceted role responsible for technical sales and assisting with the product go-to-market strategy. Leveraging proven experience in the gaming industry and excellent understanding of the gaming ecosystem, you will be part of the team driving our partnerships across our Web Gaming business including our H5 Gaming ecosystem.

In this role, you will learn to move quickly to activate new opportunities with technical solutions that scale.

Google helps our partners find better ways to reach their audiences and manage their digital businesses. In return, our partners provide great content for our products, and they syndicate Google products to enhance their sites and apps. Global Partnerships team members expand and support these relationships by continually finding new opportunities and solving technical problems for our partners. The wider Global Partnerships team includes a variety of different organizations, including CorpDev, Emerging Business Development, Strategy and Operations, Google for Startups, Area 120 and our Display Advertising Business.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Business Teams on our most strategic partners helping them build Web Gaming business generation solutions and provide the technical skills to be direct with our Gaming partners on technical optimizations to drive growth.

  • Develop workflows and scaled solutions to expedite partners’ technical integrations and enable their growth with technical improvements and insights.

  • Collaborate closely with our Product, Engineering and Sales teams to support new and existing partners to solve technical challenges and gather and strengthen feedback for our Product and Engineering teams.

  • Working with partners, cross-functional teams and leadership to execute industry changing projects.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.

  • Experience with Gaming Technology and game engines.

  • Experience in Advanced Google/F1 SQL and a programming language (Java, Swift, Objective C, Python), or other programming language.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with or in the Gaming industry including Web Gaming, H5 Gaming Ecosystem.

  • Track record of thriving in ambiguous situations and demonstrating a growth mindset.

  • Ability to manage multiple, time-sensitive projects with competing priorities while working independently to drive projects to completion.

  • Ability to develop and understand product and sales strategies with an aptitude for determining the optimal way to position products in the market

  • Excellent problem solving skills, while being comfortable with data, and ability to develop insights and translate into action.
