Community and Event Specialist

As a Community & Event Specialist, you are an agile communicator with passion and initiative in driving the community. As the forefront person in our game’s communities, you will be responsible for connecting with our users on a deeper level, nurturing the external relationship through innovative campaigns from the inside out, and influencing and empowering various stakeholders in the field to create better engagement amongst the community. 

Responsibilities

• Own community strategy & roadmap: Define long-term vision, segmentation, and KPIs aligned with business goals  
• Develop & implement community strategy: Design and execute a robust engagement strategy to grow and strengthen the grassroots gaming community
• Lead community projects & initiatives: Plan, manage, and monitor multiple community-driven programs to ensure successful execution and impact
• Organize & execute events: Plan and host both offline and online events that foster community engagement, connection, and brand loyalty
• Build & strengthen partnerships: Cultivate strong relationships with gaming communities and local influencers to enhance collaboration and reach
• Recruit & manage community teams: Identify, train, and lead a team of community moderators and volunteers to support events and engagement efforts
• Create, implement & oversee community marketing/publishing content: Promote programs, ensure consistent messaging and engagement across platforms to drive community programs/initiatives
• Build scalable systems: Create playbooks and frameworks for sustainable growth

Requirements

• Minimum a Bachelor's Degree from a reputable university
• Strong project management skills: strong organizational and multitasking skills with strong ability to plan, execute, and oversee multiple events, scale multiple events and community programs simultaneously with efficiency, and strong attention to detail and timelines in fast-paced, high-pressure environments  
• Ability to analyze community data and feedback, translating insights into actionable improvements for campaigns, product experience, and reports
• Strong leadership skills: able to influence and empower community builders and media partners with high integrity (having extensive organizational experience would be highly preferred)
• Proactive collaborator: able to actively engage and initiate collaboration with community builders and media partners that contribute towards the growth of the esports community
• Critical problem-solver: able to identify core issues from multiple perspectives and drive the right approach to solve them efficiently within timelines
• Avid learner: eager to explore new trends and to adapt fast in implementing dynamic strategies in a fast-changing environment
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in Bahasa and English along with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Passionate about games & football, preferably with knowledge of the gaming industry in Indonesia; having a deeper curiosity for game products and the industry's best practices
• Willing to travel nationwide across Indonesia
